Job Description

Responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated Intern / Part-Time Trainee to support the implementation of an electronic Quality Management System (eQMS) in a medical device environment. The role provides hands-on exposure to the design, configuration, and deployment of a digital QMS system to support regulatory compliance.

The candidate will gain practical experience in eQMS implementation, quality system documentation, and medical device regulatory requirements, including ISO 13485 and FDA regulatory frameworks.

Based on the candidate's performance, there is potential for conversion to a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation and deployment of the electronic Quality Management System (eQMS).
  • Support system design, configuration, and workflow setup for QMS processes.
  • Assist in data mapping, document structure setup, and numbering configuration for QMS documentation.
  • Support data migration and document transfer from legacy systems into the eQMS.
  • Assist in preparing and organizing quality documentation and records.
  • Support activities to ensure QMS compliance with medical device regulatory requirements.
  • Work with the quality and engineering teams to improve document control and process workflows.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Engineering, Quality Management, Life Sciences, or related fields.
  • Interest in medical device quality systems, regulatory compliance, or digital QMS platforms.
  • Basic understanding of documentation, process workflows, or system implementation is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently and communicate effectively with team members.
