About the Role

The Bunch is expanding into preschool education!

We are looking for a caring, responsible and passionate Preschool Teacher who enjoys working with young children and can create a positive, engaging and nurturing learning environment.

The teacher will be responsible for guiding our 4 & 5-year-old children through age-appropriate academic, thematic and hands-on learning experiences while supporting their social, emotional and personal development.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct engaging daily lessons for children aged 4–5
• Conduct thematic and activity-based learning according to the preschool curriculum
• Teach early literacy, phonics, numeracy and other age-appropriate subjects
• Conduct art & craft, storytelling, music, movement and hands-on activities
• Prepare teaching materials, worksheets and classroom activities
• Manage the classroom independently and maintain a positive learning environment
• Observe and monitor each child's learning and developmental progress
• Provide encouragement and individual support to children when needed
• Maintain children's safety, hygiene and wellbeing throughout the programme
• Assist children with their daily routines and encourage independence
• Maintain an organised, attractive and child-friendly classroom
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding children's learning and progress
• Participate in preschool events, celebrations, projects and other centre activities
• Work closely with the management and teaching team

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma qualification
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
• Experience working with preschool or early-years children is preferred
• Able to teach and manage children independently
• Good communication and classroom management skills
• Caring, patient, responsible and dependable
• Creative and enthusiastic about early childhood education
• Comfortable conducting interactive and hands-on activities
• Willing to learn and grow together with our preschool programme
• Ability to teach Tamil or Mandarin is an added advantage
