Quantity Surveyor (A&A projects)

Company business:

This is a BCA-registered Main Contractor specializing in A&A (Alteration & Addition) works for commercial, institutional, and residential projects, primarily serving public sector clients including JTC Corporation, Singapore Food Agency, DSTA, National Library Board, and PUB 

  Manage project budgets and cost control to ensure projects remain within budget.

  Handle projects from contract award to completion, including final accounts.

  Prepare procurement schedules and lists based on project specifications and timelines.

  Source, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor quotations and prepare subcontract documents.

  Track defects, variations, and related documentation.

  Manage VO submissions, progress claims, payment certificates, and final accounts.

  Review subcontractor VO claims and ensure proper execution and procedures.

  Follow up on subcontractor and client payments.

  Handle progress claims, payments, VOs, and project close-out.

Requirements:

  Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveyor.

  Min 2-years of experience in Quantity Surveyor or relevant.

  Able to communicate and liaise with co-workers, subcontractors and suppliers

  Good communication skills and ability to work independently under minimal supervision, good knowledge in local standards & requirements.
