Responsibilities

Job Summary

Learn 2 Play Music Academy seeks a friendly, organised Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support daily operations, manage customer interactions, coordinate schedules, and assist with administrative tasks to ensure smooth academy functioning.

Responsibilities

Greet walk-in customers and deliver responsive, helpful customer service to meet their needs

Respond promptly to enquiries via phone, email, and messaging platforms to provide accurate information

Process student registrations, invoices, payments, and retail sales accurately and efficiently

Coordinate teachers' schedules and arrange replacement lessons to maintain smooth class operations

Monitor and ensure timely collection of school fees to support financial processes

Provide front counter support to facilitate daily academy activities and operations

Assist the Supervisor with administrative duties and operational projects to improve workflow

Track inventory levels and replenish supplies to maintain adequate stock for academy needs

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the academy environment for a welcoming atmosphere

Interact professionally and respectfully with students, parents, teachers, and colleagues, demonstrating compassion and integrity

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Minimum 1 year of administrative or customer service experience preferred

Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail and Calendar) or equivalent office productivity software.

Organised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment

Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and enjoy working with children and families

Good verbal and written communication skills in English

Mandarin proficiency is an advantage for communicating with some parents

Other Information

Working Schedule

Wednesdays and Fridays

3:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Applicants should be able to commit to both working days. Candidates who are able to provide occasional weekend support will have an advantage.

Applicants should be prepared to commit to the role for a minimum of 12 months

Salary & Benefits

SGD $8.00–$12.00 per hour (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
