Responsibilities

HUMAN RESOURCES INTERN

Department: Human Resources & Administration
Reporting To: Human Resources Lead
Location: Shah Alam
Internship Duration: Preferably 3–4 months

Job Summary

The Human Resources Intern will support the HR Department in day-to-day HR administrative and operational activities. This internship provides practical exposure to various HR functions while developing good working habits, attention to detail, confidentiality, and understanding of company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining and updating employee personal files, records, and HR documentation.
  • Support recruitment activities, including posting job vacancies, screening resumes, arranging interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Assist with new employee onboarding and preparation of relevant documents.
  • Support attendance, leave, overtime, and other employee record administration.
  • Assist in preparing HR letters, forms, reports, filing, and other administrative documents.
  • Maintain proper filing of both physical and electronic HR documents.
  • Assist in updating employee information in the HR system and internal records.
  • Support HR activities such as training, employee engagement, meetings, and other departmental programmes.
  • Handle employee information and HR documents with appropriate confidentiality.
  • Ensure assigned tasks are completed accurately and within the required timeline.
  • Follow established company policies, procedures, and HR instructions.
  • Take notes, maintain proper records, and follow through on tasks assigned by the supervisor.
  • Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Able and willing to learn, take notes, follow instructions, and apply feedback.
  • Able to perform assigned tasks with appropriate guidance and supervision.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • People-oriented with a professional attitude when dealing with employees and candidates.
  • Organised, responsible, and attentive to details.
  • Understands the importance of confidentiality, policies, procedures, and proper documentation.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Preferably available for an internship period of 3–4 months.

Working Hours

Monday – Friday
9.00 AM – 6.00 PM

Pay: RM700.00 per month

Work Location: In person
