Immediate Project: P1–P6 Term 4 Mathematics Curriculum Development

We are looking for a capable and detail-oriented Freelance / Part-Time Primary Math Curriculum Developer to support the development of our Primary 1 to Primary 6 Term 4 Mathematics curriculum.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the Singapore MOE Primary Mathematics syllabus, with experience in IB PYP or inquiry-based learning being a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop structured P1–P6 Term 4 Mathematics curriculum materials
  • Plan learning objectives, lesson progression and appropriate difficulty levels
  • Create lesson plans, worksheets, revision materials and assessments
  • Develop questions ranging from foundation and application to problem-solving and higher-order thinking
  • Prepare accurate answer keys with clear, step-by-step solutions
  • Create teaching slides and supporting lesson resources where required
  • Incorporate appropriate inquiry-based learning, mathematical reasoning and real-world applications
  • Review and improve existing Mathematics curriculum materials
  • Ensure content is aligned with Singapore MOE Primary Mathematics learning objectives
  • Ensure mathematical accuracy, age appropriateness and clear progression across levels
  • Work closely with our curriculum team to review and refine materials
  • Complete assigned curriculum work according to agreed timelines and quality standards

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Mathematics, Education or a related discipline
  • Strong knowledge of the Singapore MOE Primary Mathematics syllabus
  • Prior experience in MOE Mathematics teaching, curriculum development or educational content development
  • IB PYP / inquiry-based learning experience is strongly preferred
  • Able to independently develop structured and age-appropriate Mathematics resources
  • Strong problem-solving and mathematical reasoning skills
  • Able to produce clear and accurate step-by-step solutions
  • Good command of written English
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Responsible, organised and able to meet project deadlines

Work Arrangement

  • Freelance / Part-Time
  • Assignment-based engagement
  • Hybrid working arrangement
  • On-site collaboration at our Marine Parade centre for approximately 2–3 days per week, depending on project requirements
  • Selected assignments may be completed from home
  • Working hours will be arranged according to project requirements and agreed deliverables

Remuneration

$12–$20 per hour

Rate will be determined based on qualifications, relevant experience, curriculum development capability and scope of assignment.
