Job Summary

We are looking for an IT Data Centre Intern to support our technical and operations team in the daily operation and maintenance of the data centre. This internship provides hands-on exposure to IT infrastructure, networking, servers, and data centre operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the IT/Data Centre team with daily technical and operational tasks.
• Perform basic monitoring of servers, network devices, and data centre systems.
• Assist with hardware installation, replacement, and basic troubleshooting.
• Perform routine checks on server racks, cabling, power, and equipment status.
• Assist in network cabling, labelling, and cable management.
• Support IT engineers in troubleshooting hardware and network issues.
• Update equipment inventories, documentation, and maintenance records.
• Assist with data centre housekeeping and ensuring equipment areas are properly maintained.
• Follow data centre security, safety, and operational procedures.
• Perform other IT-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
