Responsibilities
Rate: $10 per hour
Ziklag Wellness is seeking a friendly and reliable temporary assistant to support our TCM physician and wellness operations on a flexible, ad-hoc basis.
Job Responsibilities
Herbal Pack Preparation & Stock
Maintain adequate stock of herbal packs.
Prepare and package herbal packs according to the TCM physician’s instructions.
Client Treatment Support
Measure and record clients’ blood pressure before and after Grandspa and herbal steam footbath treatments.
Prepare treatment sessions, including heating herbal packs, operating the heater, checking water temperature, setting up the steam footbath and preparing towels.
Prepare the treatment area and ensure consumables, such as sealed acupuncture needles and alcohol swabs, are adequately stocked.
Prepare and serve flower tea to clients.
Facility Care & Hygiene
Clean and sanitise the treatment plinth after every use.
Client Care, Aftercare & Sales Support
Relay the TCM physician’s aftercare instructions to clients and send WhatsApp reminders.
Assist with herbal pack sales and provide approved product and usage information as directed by the TCM physician.
Requirements
Comfortable handling herbs, heat, water and towels.
Able to communicate in English and Mandarin to assist clients who use these languages.
Friendly, attentive and comfortable interacting with clients.
Meticulous, hygiene-conscious and attentive to detail.
Willing to work flexible, ad-hoc shifts, including evenings and weekends.
No prior TCM experience required; training will be provided.
