Job Summary

We are looking for a Creative Content Intern to support our marketing team in producing social media content, with a primary focus on video editing and short-form content.

The intern will work with existing footage, content ideas and marketing briefs provided by the team to create engaging content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook.

Key ResponsibilitiesVideo Editing

• Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook.
• Turn raw footage, interviews and long-form videos into short social media clips.
• Add subtitles, text overlays, music and basic visual effects.
• Perform basic audio and video enhancement where required.
• Make revisions based on feedback from the marketing team.

Content Support

• Create simple thumbnails, posters and social media visuals using Canva.
• Assist in preparing and uploading approved social media content.
• Organise raw footage, edited videos and other content files.
• Repurpose existing content into different formats when required.

Content Research

• Research current TikTok and social media trends.
• Find reference videos, editing styles, hooks and content formats for the marketing team.
• Suggest simple content ideas based on trends and references.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Multimedia, Mass Communication, Digital Media, Marketing, Graphic Design or related field.
• Basic video editing skills using CapCut or similar software.
• Basic knowledge of Canva.
• Familiar with TikTok, Instagram Reels and short-form video content.
• Creative and willing to learn.
• Able to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable receiving feedback and making revisions.

Added Advantage

• Experience editing talking-head, interview or podcast-style videos.
• Basic photography or videography skills.
• Basic copywriting skills.
• Portfolio or examples of previous video/content work.

Pay: RM500.00 - RM600.00 per month
