We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Occupational Therapist to support students in developing the skills they need to succeed in school and beyond. If you are committed to empowering children through movement, play, and meaningful daily activities, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Support Sensory & Motor Development
Conduct assessments and provide individualized occupational therapy for students requiring support in:
Fine and gross motor skills
Sensory processing and self-regulation
Handwriting and self-care skills
Attention and executive functioning
Functional participation in school activities
Deliver Flexible, Play-Based Interventions
Provide one-on-one and small-group therapy sessions.
Implement classroom-based strategies and recommend environmental adaptations.
Facilitate targeted after-school programs that promote independence, engagement, and confidence.
Collaborate Across Grade Levels
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team.
Partner with Little Dalton Kindergarten to support smooth developmental transitions.
Align sensory-motor goals across early years and primary levels, promoting inclusive practices from kindergarten through middle school.
Contribute to Professional Growth & Team Development
Participate actively in professional development opportunities.
Engage in case discussions and interdisciplinary planning meetings.
Co-create holistic, child-centered support plans that unlock each student’s potential.
Partner with Families
Maintain warm, transparent communication with parents and caregivers.
Share progress updates and collaborate on home-based strategies to ensure consistency across environments.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in Occupational Therapy from a recognized university (or equivalent).
Registered with the Hong Kong Occupational Therapists Board (or eligible for registration).
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a school, early intervention center, or pediatric therapy setting.
Demonstrated passion for working with children in pediatric or school-based environments.
Proactive, independent, and highly accountable, with strong collaboration skills in a multidisciplinary, multi-age team setting.
Working Conditions
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Part-time with flexible scheduling; details to be discussed).
Location: Modern, child-centered campus at 41B Stubbs Road, Mid-Levels , within a vibrant, multicultural school community that includes Little Dalton Kindergarten.
Benefits: Complimentary staff shuttle bus service from Central and Wan Chai to campus.
