We are looking for interns for a 3 to 6-month internship placement commencing in January or February 2027.

About the role:

As a Procurement Assistant Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the Procurement team’s daily operations through purchasing administration, supplier coordination, documentation, and reporting. This internship offers hands-on experience in procurement practices while contributing to the efficient sourcing and delivery of goods and services essential to business success.

Core Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day procurement operations, including the preparation of Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Purchase Orders (POs), and related documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers on quotations, deliveries, invoices, and order status to ensure timely procurement processes.
• Assist in supplier onboarding and maintain accurate vendor records and documentation.
• Compare supplier quotations and support cost analysis to identify value-driven purchasing opportunities.
• Update and maintain procurement databases, trackers, inventory records, and filing systems.
• Assist with inventory monitoring, stock reconciliation, and operational supply management.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to coordinate purchasing requests and track approval processes.
• Ensure procurement records are accurate, organized, and compliant with company policies and procedures.
• Support data analysis, spend tracking, and the preparation of procurement reports.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and provide general administrative support to the Procurement team.
