Location: Hong Kong

About the Role

We are a technology start-up specialising in blockchain data analytics and artificial intelligence applications. Our vision is to build a world-leading blockchain data analytics platform and explore how blockchain and AI can transform data insights and real-world applications.

You will contribute directly to our core software development projects. With one-to-one guidance from an experienced mentor, you will strengthen your technical skills, gain hands-on development experience, and build a strong foundation for your future career.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, system design, development, testing, and optimisation
• Contribute to front-end, back-end, and data-processing tasks
• Develop, maintain, and improve software features and internal tools
• Identify technical issues and support debugging and performance optimisation
• Collaborate closely with the team to deliver stable, reliable, and maintainable products
• Maintain clear technical documentation and development records

Education Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree
• Open to students from all academic disciplines; we place greater emphasis on learning ability, practical skills, and enthusiasm for technology

What We Are Looking For

• Strong programming and independent learning abilities
• Familiarity with fundamental concepts such as data structures, algorithms, and databases
• A good foundation in mathematics, including linear algebra, probability, and calculus
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, JavaScript, Java, C/C++, or Go
• Basic understanding of software engineering practices, including Git and unit testing
• Experience from coursework, personal projects, competitions, or previous internships is an advantage
• Willingness to ask questions, acknowledge mistakes, accept feedback, and continue learning
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Students studying computer science, software engineering, mathematics, physics, or another STEM subject are preferred, but applicants from other disciplines are also welcome

Internship Arrangements

• Location: Hong Kong
• Duration: At least three months
• Availability: At least four days per week
• Interview: Online interview; scheduling can be coordinated around your classes
• Compensation: HK$90–160 per hour, depending on technical ability, experience, and performance
