About the role

TOTALMEN (M) SDN BHD is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer Intern to join our dynamic Marketing & Communications team in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. This is an exciting full-time internship opportunity for someone passionate about design and eager to develop their skills in a professional environment. As a Graphic Designer Intern, you will play an integral role in supporting the creation of compelling visual content that drives our marketing initiatives and enhances our brand presence. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in a growing organisation, providing you with the opportunity to contribute to real projects whilst developing industry-relevant design expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the creation of visual designs for marketing materials, including social media graphics, brochures, posters, and digital advertisements
• Support the design team in developing and maintaining brand consistency across all marketing collateral
• Collaborate with marketing and communications staff to understand project requirements and deliver designs that align with campaign objectives
• Utilise design software and tools to produce high-quality graphics and visual content
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for marketing campaigns and promotional materials
• Assist in the editing and optimisation of images and graphics for various media channels
• Support the preparation of design files for print and digital production
• Maintain organised design asset libraries and documentation
• Respond to feedback and revise designs to meet stakeholder expectations

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent design programmes
• Demonstrated portfolio or work samples showcasing your design capabilities and creative vision
• Excellent visual communication skills with a keen eye for detail, colour theory, and typography
• Strong understanding of design principles and the ability to apply them effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Enthusiasm for learning and professional development in the marketing and design industry
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing trends and social media content preferences (preferred)
• Experience with video editing or motion graphics (preferred)

Office Hours

• 9 am - 5.30 pm
• Saturday to Thursday
• Friday (Off Day)

Pay: RM400.00 per month
