Role Description

FinAIMS is looking for an Investment & Business Intern who is curious about financial markets, investments and how a financial services business operates.

This is a hands-on internship where you’ll work alongside our team and gain practical exposure across investment research, market updates, presentations and day-to-day business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research on unit trust funds, financial markets and investment-related topics

• Monitor market developments and prepare relevant news and market updates for the team

• Assist in preparing research materials, presentations and internal content

• Support the team with day-to-day business and operational activities

• Assist with ad-hoc projects across investments, personal finance, financial education and business development

• Work closely with team members and contribute ideas where relevant

You won’t be expected to know everything from day one. We’re looking for someone who is willing to learn, ask questions and get involved.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Investment, Banking or a related field

• Genuine interest in investments, financial markets and financial services

• Comfortable conducting research and summarising information clearly

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English

• Familiar with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel; familiarity with AI tools is an advantage

• Responsible, organised and able to complete assigned tasks independently

• Curious, proactive and willing to learn

• Comfortable working with and learning from people with different levels of experience

Fresh knowledge matters more to us than prior experience. Previous internship or financial-services experience is an advantage, but not required.
