Job Summary

You will design and conduct hands-on art and craft workshops for senior participants/older adults, fostering creativity, skill-building, and social connection in an inclusive and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging art and craft activities tailored to varying abilities and interests, aligned with program goals.
• Teach diverse art mediums and techniques such as drawing, painting, papercraft, and mixed media using clear, step-by-step instruction
• Foster a welcoming and encouraging classroom atmosphere that promotes active participation and participant well-being
• Provide patient guidance and adapt teaching techniques to support the individual needs of workshop participants
• Collaborate with the event team to prepare venues, organize materials, and execute sessions ensuring smooth workshop delivery
• Lead group sessions independently with punctuality and self-motivation

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or relevant training in Arts or equivalent practical experience
• Experience in art instruction or facilitating community workshops, especially with adult or senior groups
• Strong knowledge of foundational art techniques and various creative mediums
• Demonstrated patience, effective communication skills, empathy, and adaptability in delivering workshops

**Note : As this is a freelance role, the fees payment is based on per event basis.
