About the role:

We are looking for energetic Graphic Design Instructor or Tutor to support Malaysian children in building strong design fundamentals through practical, hands-on learning. This is a freelance, part-time opportunity with a minimum weekly commitment, ideal for someone who enjoys teaching and mentoring while maintaining flexibility.

Key highlights:

Freelance, fully remote role

Rate: IDR 90.000/hour

Minimum commitment: 18 teaching hours per week with availability required on at least one weekend day

Operational Teaching Hour:

• Mon - Fri : 3:00 PM - 9:30 PM Malaysia Time
• Sat - Sun : 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM Malaysia Time

Full schedule estimated earnings: ~ IDR 6.480.000 per month, with potential to increase based on additional teaching hours

What You'll Do?

• Teach engaging online graphic design classes in 1:1 and small-group settings
• Teach key design concepts such as layout, typography, color, branding, and visual communication
• Guide students through practical projects and creative assignments
• Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their design skills and portfolios
• Monitor student progress, engagement, attendance, and learning outcomes
• Follow the provided curriculum and prepare lesson materials when needed
• Evaluate student assignments and submit regular progress reports
• Collaborate with academic, operations, and support teams to ensure a smooth learning experience
• Participate in tutor training and quality review sessions
• Manage your schedule responsibly and maintain consistent class delivery

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor Degree in a relevant field
• Proven experience in graphic design
• Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar
• Good communication skills in English (mandatory)
• Passion for teaching, mentoring, or working with kids
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience is a plus
• Patient, student-focused approach
