About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Science Teacher to teach students aged 6 to 14. The ideal candidate is familiar with Singapore’s education system, and is committed to delivering structured, results-driven, and engaging lessons.
This role is suitable for educators who enjoy personalised teaching and are confident in guiding students towards measurable academic improvement.
What you'll be doing?
Conduct engaging lessons: Design learning materials and deliver enthusiastic and effective English Language lessons both online and at the centre.
Collaborate and create: Work with colleagues to plan curriculum, develop new strategies, and create engaging materials.
Evaluate and improve: Plan, review, and evaluate lessons to ensure continuous improvement in teaching methods.
Provide feedback: Regularly communicate with parents about their children's learning progress.
Manage workload: Teach an average of 16 classes per week, including covering for absent colleagues when needed.
Embrace growth: Be open to new ideas and feedback, continuously improving your teaching skills.
Who are we looking for?
Educational background:
Candidates with a DIP (NIE), BA (NIE), PGDE (NIE) or overseas equivalent, with distinction or merit preferred.
Teaching experience:
Prior experience in MOE certified or teaching primary/secondary school children is valued
Positive attitude:
A driven, results-focused individual with a "can-do" attitude and a passion for teaching English Language.
Flexibility:
Ability to work on weekdays evening and weekends, and ability to teach online class.
English Language proficiency:
Strong command of the English language to effectively teach and communicate with students and parents.
