English Playgroup Teacher

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced playgroup teacher to lead our English playgroup sessions for young learners aged up to 2 year old and their parents.

Sessions will be held on a Saturday morning and run for 1 hour (up to 2 sessions) at our schools, based across the New Territories, with up to 8 students and parents per group.

Our playgroup sessions aim to :

• Help young children prepare for school entry in a relaxed and enjoyable learning atmosphere, fostering their independence, self-confidence, and ability to face challenges.
• To learn basic classroom routines, self-care skills, and expressive techniques.
• Develop gross and fine motor skills training: sensory development games, arts and crafts, and play-based activities to stimulate children's five senses

Teachers responsibilities include:

• Lesson planning and arrangement of activities for the session.
• Preparation of materials (School materials also provided).
• Facilitating the running of the one hour session with the children and parents.
• Liaising with parents and answering any queries/questions in regards to playgroup.

Requirements for applicants:

• Must have experience in playgroup teaching and lesson planning.
• Hold a valid Hong Kong Visa or permanent ID card.
• Native English Speaker.

Pay: $700.00 - $1,000.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1.0 – 2.0 per week
