RESPONSIBILITIES
Process and verify supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy in coding, amounts, and approval in accordance with company policies.
Assist with the preparation and execution of supplier and staff payment runs via variousmethods and help reconcile vendor statements.
Maintain and update the vendor master database, including processing new vendor setuprequests and validating vendor authenticity.
Support the accounts payable team with month-end closing activities, such as accruals and account reconciliations.
Respond to internal and external queries, providing timely and professional communication with vendors and other departments regarding invoice and payment status.
QUALIFICATIONS
Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a degree program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Basic understanding of fundamental accounting principles (e.g., debits/credits, thematching principle) and a strong desire to learn accounts payable processes.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and a general aptitude forlearning new accounting software or ERP systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with team members and external vendors.
