Role Description The Owner role is a part-time, remote position responsible for overseeing the overall direction and performance of construction projects. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing project designs and plans, approving estimates and budgets, and monitoring execution against timelines and quality standards. The Owner coordinates with designers, engineers, contractors, and clients to resolve issues, manage risks, and ensure clear communication. This role also involves making strategic decisions about new residential, commercial, and renovation opportunities, guiding process improvements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Experience across key construction phases, including design review, planning, estimation, execution, and hand-over.
• Strong project management capabilities, such as scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and resource coordination.
• Knowledge of residential, commercial, and renovation project workflows, building codes, and industry best practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams, with strong negotiation and decision-making skills.
• Comfort working in a remote, part-time leadership role, with self-management, accountability, and digital collaboration skills.
• Background in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field; prior ownership or senior leadership experience is an advantage.
• Familiarity with construction software tools, documentation standards, and basic financial reporting for projects.
