STINKY DURIAN DESSERTS, a subsidiary of 99 OLD TREES DURIAN, specializes in durian dessert products. Our cafe is located near Outram MRT, Singapore, offering authentic Musang King durian desserts with a focus on quality and customer experience.
Job Summary
As an Outlet Service Crew, you will manage daily operations, serve customers, prepare desserts, handle cashier duties, and maintain cleanliness to ensure a smooth and enjoyable customer experience.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day outlet operations and efficiently operate assigned workstations
Greet and attend to customers by taking orders and preparing ice desserts, pastries, and toppings accurately
Train and collaborate with team members to uphold service and product knowledge standards
Operate the POS system for cashier duties, including cash handling, reporting, and managing floats
Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of workstations, floors, furniture, washrooms, and equipment
Order and control inventory of ingredients, dry products, and miscellaneous items to ensure stock availability
Report operational issues and complete ad-hoc tasks as assigned by managers and directors
Required competencies and certifications
Willingness to work shifts including weekends and public holidays to support outlet operations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Experience of 1-2 years in a related role, considered for salary negotiation
Friendly and responsible attitude with strong customer interaction skills
Self-motivated, independent, and able to work well within a team
Ability to lead and inspire team members while maintaining professional product knowledge

Full-Time: $2500 - $3000/month depending on experience, 5.5-day work week, 44 hours per week, must work weekends
Our Stinky Journey begins in Fook Gor Durian Farm - A 27 acre family owned durian farm located in Raub district, Pahang, Malaysia, Fook Gor Durian Farm was started in 1982 by Chan Lai Fook. It is home to Malaysia's oldest Musang King tree.
During every durian season, fresh durians are picked daily from 5am to 7am. They are sorted and graded. The best ones are sent directly to Singapore to our very own retail outlet, 99 Old Trees, located in Owen Road, Singapore.

Excess durians will be sent daily to our processing plant, located just 5 minutes away from the farm, for pulp extraction.
These extracted pulp is meticulously graded by hand. They are spread across a white acrylic surface to be checked for impurities and tough fibrous pieces. Pulp that is of poor quality are painstakingly removed by hand and discarded. It's a very labour intensive process.
What's left behind is a batch of high quality, strong smelling pulp! And that is why in every bite of our dessert, you'll be hit by the full strength of Musang King's flavour!
