Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents.
Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable and invoicing.
Record receipts, payments, expenses and other financial transactions.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor outstanding payments.
Maintain the general ledger and assist with month-end closing.
Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
Process payroll, CPF contributions and other statutory payments.
Prepare GST returns and assist with corporate tax matters, where applicable.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks and government authorities when required.
Ensure that financial records comply with applicable Singapore accounting, tax and statutory requirements.
Maintain proper confidentiality and security of financial and personal information.
Perform other reasonable accounting-related duties assigned by management.
Requirements
Diploma, Degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
Relevant experience handling accounts for a Singapore-based business.
Working knowledge of Singapore accounting practices, CPF, payroll and GST requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or an equivalent system.
Able to work independently, maintain accurate records and meet reporting deadlines.
Good organisational and communication skills.
Experience in the recruitment or employment agency industry would be advantageous but is not mandatory.
