Responsibilities
Attend to walk-in customers and recommend suitable products based on their needs.
Explain and demonstrate product features, basic setup and functionality.
Process sales transactions using the ePOS system.
Replenish stock and maintain neat, organised and attractive product displays.
Monitor stock levels and highlight fast-moving or low-stock items.
Assist with receiving, unpacking and organising stock.
Attend to customer enquiries, exchanges and basic after-sales matters according to company guidelines.
Maintain the cleanliness and overall presentation of the store.
Support in-store promotions, campaigns and product launches.
Support exhibitions, roadshows, pop-up events and other company activities at different locations when required.
Perform other reasonable duties related to retail and event operations as assigned by the Manager.
Requirements
Friendly, approachable and comfortable interacting with customers.
Responsible, punctual and willing to learn.
Comfortable with hands-on product demonstrations and basic troubleshooting.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Regular weekend availability is required.
Able to work on public holidays when rostered.
Willing to work at exhibitions, roadshows, pop-up events or other assigned locations when required.
Prior retail or customer service experience is an advantage but not required.
Interest in model trains, buses and collectibles is a plus.
