Social Media Intern

We are looking for a creative, energetic and social-media-savvy intern to join our team. If you enjoy creating content, following trends, shooting videos and turning everyday moments into engaging social media content, we would love to hear from you.

This role is ideal for students or fresh graduates who want hands-on experience in social media marketing, content creation and branding.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the company's Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other social media platforms
• Plan and create engaging social media content
• Shoot and edit short-form videos, Reels and TikTok content
• Take simple product, lifestyle and behind-the-scenes photos/videos
• Write captions and assist with content scheduling
• Research current social media trends, sounds, hashtags and content ideas
• Brainstorm creative campaigns and promotional ideas with the team
• Assist with basic graphic design using Canva or similar tools
• Respond to and engage with social media comments/messages when required
• Monitor basic content performance and identify which types of content perform well
• Assist with other marketing and branding activities when required

Requirements

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Business or a related field
• Comfortable using Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
• Basic video editing skills using CapCut, Canva or similar applications
• Creative and willing to appear behind or in front of the camera when required
• Good sense of visual presentation and storytelling
• Able to communicate in English; Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin will be an advantage
• Responsible, organised and able to work independently
• Most importantly, willing to learn, experiment and contribute ideas
