About the role

Goodwill Square (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Recruitment Associate to join our Human Resources & Recruitment team in Segambut, Kuala Lumpur. This is a part-time position that plays a vital role in supporting our recruitment operations and helping to build a talented workforce across the organisation. As a Recruitment Associate, you will be instrumental in identifying, sourcing, and processing candidates to fill various open positions within the company. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to attract and retain top talent, making this role strategically important to our organisational growth and success.

Key responsibilities

• Source and identify qualified candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, and direct outreach

• Screen resumes and applications to shortlist candidates who meet job requirements and qualifications

• Conduct initial telephone or email screening interviews with prospective candidates

• Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate databases and recruitment records

• Prepare job descriptions and job postings for internal and external distribution

• Provide administrative support to the recruitment team, including documentation and correspondence

• Assist with recruitment campaigns and employer branding initiatives

• Follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure positive candidate experience

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes and procedures

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in recruitment, human resources, or a related administrative role, preferably in an internal recruitment function

• Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and candidate management

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with candidates and internal stakeholders

• Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software

• Competency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with learning new recruitment tools

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple recruitment priorities simultaneously

• Attention to detail with strong organisational skills

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to support team members

• Familiarity with employment law and compliance requirements in Malaysia is advantageous

• Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
