5. Business Development (Merchant Development) Intern

Our Internship Programme will broaden your insights on the many aspects of the online business industry. You will get to learn more about the catering and cakes industry, experience the ‘behind the scenes’ tasks of managing an online company, develop various skill sets, and drive meaningful change in our business.

Throughout the programme, you will be immersed in a hands-on learning environment that exposes you to FoodLine’s operations and get to work cohesively with our casual and fun-loving team. Expect many opportunities for learning, while also building on your personal development with us like many of our past interns have.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Prospect and recruit new merchants
• Help merchants to boost sales and strengthen relationships
• Accelerate our growth through partnerships with other brands
• Willing to push boundaries and execute new initiatives/projects
• Perform any other ad-hoc activities required by the team

Requirements:

• Friendly personality, self-driven and able to thrive under minimal supervision
• Detailed, meticulous and organised with great attitude
• Comfortable liaising with merchants over phone and emails
• Avid user of ChatGPT and other AI tools for research, content creation, and productivity enhancement.
• Qualifications: A Level/Polytechnic/University students and graduates too! Top 10% of cohort preferred. No prior experience required
• Allowance: $800 - $1000/month
• Duration: able to commit min. 5 months internship
• Start Date: Flexible (Whenever you want, preferably as soon as possible)
