Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, or a related technical field.
• Students looking for internship / industrial training / practical training are encouraged to apply.
• Strong interest in machinery, electrical systems, electronics, and hands-on technical work.
• Willing to learn machine repair, servicing, and troubleshooting.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic components is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of using a multimeter or other testing tools is an advantage.
• Knowledge of PCB troubleshooting and repair is an added advantage.
• Willing to perform hands-on work such as dismantling, repairing, replacing components, testing, and reassembling machines.
• Willing to work in a workshop environment.
• Physically fit and comfortable handling machinery, tools, and equipment.
• Responsible, hardworking, careful, and willing to learn.
• Able to follow instructions and work well with supervisors and technicians.
• Good communication skills in English and/or Bahasa Malaysia.

 Aim Tech Welding System Sdn Bhd is looking for a responsible, hardworking, and motivated Intern / Industrial Training Student to join our team.

This internship is suitable for students who have a strong interest in machinery, electrical systems, mechanical work, electronics, and technical troubleshooting.

The intern will mainly be based in our repair workshop, gaining practical hands-on experience with welding machines and plasma cutting machines. Training and guidance will be provided by our senior technicians.

Students who are currently pursuing Certificate, Diploma, or Degree studies in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, or related technical fields are encouraged to apply.

Internship Responsibilities

• Assist technicians in the repair, servicing, and maintenance of welding machines and plasma cutting machines.
• Assist with troubleshooting and basic diagnosis of machine faults using testing equipment such as multimeters.
• Learn and assist with basic PCB inspection, troubleshooting, and repair under technician supervision.
• Assist in replacing faulty components, spare parts, electrical components, and mechanical parts.
• Assist with machine testing after repair to ensure proper operation and safety.
• Assist senior technicians in diagnosing and resolving machine problems.
• Perform workshop-based maintenance work, including cleaning, inspection, adjustment, and testing of machines.
• Assist with the safe loading and unloading of machines and equipment when required.
• Help organize spare parts, repair components, tools, and workshop equipment.
• Assist in maintaining repair records and service documentation.
• Assist with machine installation, assembly, testing, and commissioning when required.
• Follow proper safety procedures and company standards at all times.
• Learn practical repair and servicing techniques from experienced technicians.
• Perform other technical and workshop duties related to machine repair and servicing as assigned.
