Employment Type:
September 2026 to December 2026/January 2027/ Temporary
Working Hours:
5-day work week, rotational shifts
5.15am – 2.45pm
&
7.30am – 5.00pm
Includes weekends & public holidays
Working hours may be adjusted based on operational needs
Key Responsibilities
Manage diet control administration and patient meal-related matters
Handle phone calls, enquiries and feedback, and coordinate follow-ups with relevant departments
Collate and update meal information for kitchen production
Generate daily meal summaries and patient meal chits using the electronic meal ordering system
Assist the kitchen team with meal assembly, plating and tray preparation
Manage office supplies, stock issuance and stock-taking
Receive, store and distribute goods to relevant departments
Conduct patient meal satisfaction surveys and collate feedback
Manage daily staff meal orders, collection coordination and payment processing
Support general administrative duties including documentation, filing, posters and signage
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Minimum NITEC or Diploma in Food Science, Food Nutrition or a related discipline preferred
Candidates with relevant experience in food services, healthcare, catering or similar operations are welcome
Valid WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 certificate is required
Good communication, interpersonal and telephone etiquette skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Good spoken and written English
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment
Physically fit and able to perform manual handling, including lifting and carrying heavy items
