About the Role

We are looking for a Marketing Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, product marketing, social media, and brand communication.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is creative, curious, enjoys exploring new trends, and wants to experience marketing beyond just social media.

Key Responsibilities

Product Marketing & Launch

• Assist in preparing marketing materials for new product launches.
• Support product sample and prototype packaging preparation.
• Create product brochures, promotional videos, recipe videos, and other marketing materials.
• Assist with photography and videography for products and marketing activities.
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify current trends and opportunities.
• Support product storytelling and marketing communications.

Digital Marketing & Content Creation

• Assist in planning and creating content for TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
• Support content creation including social media posts, videos, scripts, blogs, website content, and digital advertisements.
• Assist with photography, videography, editing, and basic animation.
• Use Canva or other design tools to create marketing materials.
• Assist with managing and creating content for e-commerce platforms such as Shopee and Lazada.

Brand & Marketing Communication

• Assist in executing marketing campaigns and initiatives to increase brand awareness.
• Support the development of brochures, posters, promotional materials, and other marketing communications.
• Ensure marketing materials follow the company's branding guidelines and visual identity.
• Research and analyse digital and marketing trends to support content planning.

Events & Employee Engagement

• Support company events and marketing activities, including preparation of posters, invitations, brochures, and other materials.
• Participate in employee engagement and workplace culture initiatives through the Markaids Culture Crew.

Ad-Hoc Support

• Assist with other marketing and cross-functional projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Mass Communication, Business, or a related field.
• Creative and interested in content creation, social media, and digital marketing.
• Basic knowledge of Canva or other design tools.
• Basic photography and videography skills are an advantage.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Creative, proactive, and willing to learn.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
• Strong interest in learning and exploring current marketing trends.

Job Type: Internship

Pay: RM900.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Petaling Jaya: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
