Design for Change Singapore specialises in designing and delivering workshops for MOE schools and special projects since 2010.

Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Student Leadership Facilitators who are passionate about empowering young people and developing their leadership capabilities.

As a facilitator, you will deliver engaging Student Leadership programmes in schools, using experiential and reflective learning approaches to help students develop greater self-awareness, confidence, communication, collaboration and leadership skills.

Facilitators will be paid an hourly rate of $50 and will work on a freelance basis. Training, programme materials and lesson plans will be provided.

Job Requirements
Must Have

• Certification in The Leadership Challenge (TLC), The Student Leadership Challenge, or an equivalent recognised leadership certification.
• Minimum 3 years of coaching, training or facilitation experience with students and/or youth, preferably within school settings.
• Strong facilitation, communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for working with and empowering children and youth.

Preferred

• Effectively to engage in The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership
• Training or certification in Strengths Profile, personality profiling or equivalent strengths-based methodologies.
• Relevant professional expertise in leadership development, coaching, education, youth development or related fields.
• Relevant training or experience in conducting profiling-based programmes using strengths-based or equivalent methodologies.
• Experience in Experiential Learning and facilitating activity-based and reflective learning with students.
• Valid First Aid certification with CPR training.

Additional Information

• MOE Instructor Registration is required for deployment in MOE schools.
• Hourly rates will be based on qualifications, experience and skills.
• We provide programme training, materials and lesson plans for facilitators.
• Facilitators will be engaged on a freelance, programme-based basis, subject to programme requirements and availability.

• Work location: In person, Singapore.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
