Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Product Owner (Junior & Manager) at BDS Hubs. The Product Owner will oversee the vision, roadmap, and prioritization of digital and service-based products that support business development services for SMEs and entrepreneurs. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and refining requirements from stakeholders, translating business needs into clear product backlogs, and collaborating closely with software development and business teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery. The role involves monitoring product performance, analyzing user feedback, and recommending enhancements that improve user experience and impact. The Product Owner will also prepare concise product documentation, support communication with partners and internal teams, and contribute to continuous improvement of BDS Hubs’ products and services.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Business Analysis capabilities to understand user needs, interpret data, and define clear product requirements.
• Candidates should possess Product Management skills to manage backlogs, prioritize features, define roadmaps, and align products with organizational goals.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage stakeholders, and present product updates clearly.
• Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Software Development processes to work with technical teams, manage agile workflows, and support implementation.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field are beneficial.
• Experience in entrepreneurship, SME support, or financial services, and familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) are advantageous.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and handle multiple priorities in a part-time capacity.
