ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP

Motion Art Space is an art environment, this internship focuses on front-of-house hospitality and daily operations.

You will learn how to prepare the venue, welcome guests, explain the experience, support several groups at once and keep the space running smoothly between bookings. We want someone who enjoys meeting people, smiles naturally, makes confident small talk and notices when a guest needs help. No art background is required.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Prepare paint, canvases, tools and equipment before sessions.
• Welcome and check in guests.
• Explain the experience clearly and run demonstrations after training.
• Monitor multiple guest groups and offer help proactively.
• Handle first-line guest questions and concerns calmly.
• Reset and clean stations between bookings.
• Restock supplies and maintain the venue’s presentation.
• Support opening, closing and shift-handover procedures.
• Learn the service standards and operating systems behind a busy guest venue.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Warm, approachable and confident speaking with unfamiliar people.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced customer-facing environment.
• Experience in F&B, hospitality, attractions, events or high-volume retail is useful but not required.
• Proactive rather than waiting to be told what guests need.
• Reliable, punctual and comfortable with hands-on cleaning and setup.
• Able to work rostered shifts, including weekends.
• Able to commit to a full-time internship for at least 3 months.

Pay: $600.00 - $800.00 per month

License/Certification:
