Skills

  1. Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to articulate information clearly and persuasively.
  2. Customer-Centric: A customer-oriented mindset with the ability to empathize with potential customers and address their needs.
  3. Time Management: Efficient time management skills to prioritize and follow up on leads.
  4. Swimming Knowledge: Basic knowledge of swimming and swimming programs is a plus, but not required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous competitive swimming experience.
  • Positive learning attitude
  • Experience working with children and adults.
  • Familiarity with swim meet organization and execution.

Responsibilities

Sailfish Swim Academy is seeking a passionate and experienced Swimming Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in competitive swimming and swim instruction, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to fostering a positive learning atmosphere. This role requires availability on weekends, specifically Saturdays and Sundays. We are looking for Lake Point Club, Tropicana Golf and Country Resort, and APIS at Ara Damansara (Klang Valley).

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct swim lessons for individuals and groups of various ages and skill levels.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of each swimmer.
  • Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help swimmers improve their skills.
  • Ensure the safety of all participants by maintaining a vigilant watch and enforcing pool rules.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating environment for all swimmers.
  • Communicate effectively with swimmers, parents, and team members.
  • Assist in the organization and execution of swim meets and events.
  • Maintain accurate records of swimmer progress and attendance.
  • Stay updated on the latest swim coaching techniques and safety standards.

Working Hours:

This is a full-time position, our operation timing will be weekdays tuesday-friday 9.45am - 5pm and Weekends 8am - 7pm(break from 12pm-3pm), we are closed on every monday. The number of hours may vary based on business needs.
