Job Description
Responsibilities
Part-Time Lecturer – Hospitality & Tourism
Key Responsibilities
Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical workshops for undergraduate and diploma students across
core hospitality and tourism modules
.
Develop and update course materials, lesson plans, and assessments in line with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
Incorporate digital tools and sustainable hospitality practices into teaching.
Prepare, invigilate, mark, and provide feedback on examinations and assignments.
Provide academic guidance and support to students.
Supervise students’
internships, industry projects, and research papers
.
Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and academic records.
Participate in faculty meetings, academic reviews, orientations, open days, and other school activities.
Work with Academic and Operations teams to ensure
quality assurance and regulatory compliance
.
Provide additional academic support and undertake other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in
Tourism, Hospitality Management,
or a closely related field.
At least 3 years of teaching experience
in higher education, private education institutions, or polytechnic settings.
Master’s Degree
in a relevant field is preferred.
Relevant
hospitality, hotel, or tourism industry experience
is an advantage.
