The intern will be involved in a large-scale IT infrastructure initiative that supports the technology refresh and expansion of IT infrastructure across our clients in Singapore, making it an excellent opportunity for interns to gain practical exposure to a IT project delivery.

Under the guidance and mentorship of experienced Project Managers, the intern will participate in project planning, scheduling, coordination, implementation support, project monitoring, documentation, project closure, and handover activities. This allows the intern to understand how an IT infrastructure project is managed from initiation to completion while working alongside cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, operations teams, vendors, and customer representatives.

What You’ll Do:

The IT Infrastructure Project Management Intern will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of IT infrastructure projects under the guidance of experienced Project Managers. The intern will gain hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle, from planning and implementation to project closure and handover, while developing practical skills in project coordination, stakeholder management, documentation, and IT infrastructure deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating project schedules, deployment activities, and implementation timelines.
• Coordinate with schools, internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to support project delivery.
• Maintain and update project trackers, implementation schedules, risk logs, and status reports.
• Consolidate and verify IT infrastructure asset inventories, site survey data, and deployment records.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, action logs, implementation records, and project closure documents.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, and action items to ensure timely completion.
• Support project monitoring by tracking risks, issues, dependencies, and escalation items.
• Participate in project meetings and gain exposure to project planning, governance, reporting, and change management.
• Assist with project closure activities, including documentation, asset reconciliation, and handover to operations.
• Perform other project coordination and administrative duties as assigned.

• Communication and Interpersonal Skills - Able to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
• Organisational and Time Management Skills - Able to manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and meet project timelines.
• Willingness to Learn and Teamwork - Proactive, eager to learn, takes initiative, and works well in a collaborative team environment. Technical Skills
• Microsoft Office Proficiency - Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Knowledge of Excel functions (e.g., sorting, filtering, PivotTables) is an advantage.
• Basic IT Infrastructure Knowledge Basic understanding of computer networks, Wi-Fi, switches, access points, and IT hardware is preferred.
• Documentation and Data Management Able to maintain project documentation, update asset inventories, and work accurately with spreadsheets and project records.
