About the Role
We are a pest control solutions provider servicing the construction and commercial sectors. To advance our commitment to green practices, we are seeking a motivated
Sustainability Intern
to help drive our environmental initiatives, lower our carbon footprint, and secure relevant sustainability certifications in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
Certification Applications:
Assist in researching, preparing, and applying for local sustainability certifications (e.g., Eco-Office, BCA Green Mark alignment, ISO 14001 support).
Carbon Footprint Reduction:
Evaluate operational practices and help identify strategies to lower carbon emissions and energy use.
SDG Framework Alignment:
Map out and align internal processes with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Data Logging:
Utilize
Microsoft Excel
to track green performance metrics, energy usage, and sustainability records.
Job Scope Details:
A detailed breakdown of specific responsibilities and key projects will be explained during the interview.
Requirements
SDG & ESG Knowledge:
Sound understanding of UN Sustainable Development Goals and environmental sustainability principles.
Local Certification Familiarity:
Knowledge of Singapore’s sustainability landscape and certification standards.
Technical Skills:
Basic proficiency in
Microsoft Excel
for data logging and organization.
Location Flexibility:
Comfortable working at
Kaki Bukit
initially and transitioning to
Tai Seng
.
Attributes:
Resourceful, passionate about environmental impact, and detail-oriented.
