The Production Planning Intern will support the Planning team in managing day-to-day production planning activities, monitoring demand, supply, inventory, and material availability, and preparing reports to support effective decision-making. The intern will work closely with cross-functional teams to track plans, identify potential issues, and support timely execution.

This internship provides hands-on exposure to production planning, supply chain, data analysis, and semiconductor manufacturing operations, while developing practical skills in problem-solving, stakeholder collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Internship Period: Jan 2027 - Jun 2027

Responsibilities

• Support the Planning team with daily planning activities and monitor progress against plans.
• Assist in reviewing demand, supply, inventory and production information.
• Support the team in identifying and following up on material availability and planning issues.
• Work with cross-functional teams such as Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics and Customer Service to support smooth operations.
• Assist in maintaining and updating planning data, reports and systems.
• Prepare regular planning reports and analysis to highlight key issues, risks and opportunities.
• Use data to support the team in identifying trends, resolving issues and improving planning decisions.
• Assist with changes to plans and follow up on actions to ensure timely execution.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve planning effectiveness, operational efficiency and customer delivery.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Degree in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain or a related discipline.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with an interest in data analysis and reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proactive, responsible and comfortable working with different stakeholders.
• Good communication, presentation and teamwork skills.
• Curious, hands-on and eager to learn about production planning and manufacturing operations.
