We are looking for passionate Learning Facilitators to deliver engaging, practical training across carbon analytics, sustainability, and ESG. If you enjoy teaching, facilitating discussions, and turning complex concepts into meaningful workplace applications, we'd love to hear from you.

What you will do

Deliver practical Carbon, Sustainability & ESG training

• Facilitate engaging instructor-led training sessions in classroom and virtual environments.
• Deliver courses covering carbon accounting, GHG measurement, carbon analytics, sustainability reporting, ESG, and responsible business practices.
• Lead hands-on workshops using real-world datasets, emissions calculations, case studies, and practical business scenarios.
• Demonstrate how sustainability and ESG principles can be applied across industries and business functions.

Build learner capabilities

• Guide learners through practical exercises, assignments, workshops, and capstone projects.
• Explain carbon accounting principles, GHG measurement methodologies, sustainability strategies, and reporting frameworks in a practical, business-focused way.
• Help learners develop and implement sustainability initiatives, ESG strategies, and responsible business practices within their organisations.
• Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaborative discussion around sustainability challenges and opportunities.
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.

Maintain subject matter excellence

• Deliver training aligned with SSG/WSQ standards and adult learning best practices.
• Stay current with developments in carbon accounting, sustainability, ESG regulations, reporting standards, and industry practices.
• Incorporate emerging trends, frameworks, and real-world case studies into training delivery.
• Collaborate with curriculum developers to improve and maintain high-quality course content.

What we look for

We are looking for experienced sustainability, ESG, and carbon professionals who combine strong subject matter expertise with a passion for teaching. Successful candidates typically have:

• ACTA or ACLP certification (mandatory), or equivalent adult education qualification.
• Hands-on experience in carbon accounting, GHG measurement, sustainability reporting, ESG, corporate sustainability, environmental management, or related fields.
• Working knowledge of recognised frameworks and standards such as GHG Protocol, ISO 14064, GRI, SASB, TCFD, ISSB, CSRD, or other relevant sustainability frameworks.
• Experience preparing GHG inventories, carbon footprint assessments, sustainability reports, or ESG disclosures.
• Experience implementing or advising on sustainability initiatives, ESG programmes, or responsible business practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and at least one analytics tool such as Power BI, Python, SQL, or similar is an advantage.
• Experience delivering corporate training, SkillsFuture-funded or WSQ-accredited programmes, or teaching adult learners is an advantage.
• Experience in curriculum development or instructional design is a plus.
• Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and learner engagement skills.
• Ability to simplify complex sustainability, ESG, and carbon concepts into practical, business-focused learning experiences.
• A genuine passion for helping professionals apply sustainability and ESG principles in their organisations.
