About the Role:
As an Accounting Intern, you will assist our team with an upcoming accounting system implementation. This role offers hands-on experience with an enterprise accounting platform, financial data structures and core accounting concepts, including debits/credits, chart of accounts mapping and sub-ledger management.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Transaction Testing:

You will learn how to create test scripts, input sample transactions (e.g. mock vendor bills, customer invoices and manual journal entries) to verify that general ledger postings, AP and AR trial balances are accurately reflected in the new system.

UA Reconciliation and Resolution:

You will learn how to systematically document bugs and system discrepancies (e.g. compare actual system output against UAT baseline results), report and correct all identified errors and data discrepancies before go-live.

SOP Documentation:

You will assist in developing a step-by-step Standard Operating Procedures (e.g. processing credit memos in the new system) to assist with internal user training and reference.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Banking & Finance, Business, or a related field at a local University.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (especially Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides), with a comfortable working knowledge of basic financial formulas, spreadsheets, and reporting templates.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial data clearly to team members.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong respect for data accuracy and confidentiality.
• Proactive learner who works well in a team, adapts easily to new software/ERP systems, and can manage multiple task deadlines effectively.
• Internship Period: January 2027 to June 2027
