Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Duration: Minimum 4 months (6-month programme preferred)

Summary

Imagine creating visuals that come to life in the night sky. At X-BAND, we create innovative drone shows that combine technology, animation, creativity, and storytelling. Our shows transform hundreds or thousands of drones into dynamic visuals above major events, landmarks, and celebrations.

We are looking for a creative and motivated Multimedia / 3D Animation Intern who is passionate about animation, visual design, and creative technology. You will gain hands-on experience working on 3D concepts, animations, drone show visuals, marketing content, and real-world productions.

What You Will Do

• Create 3D models, animations, and visual concepts for drone shows
• Assist in developing drone show storyboards and animations
• Create graphics, videos, and promotional content for X-BAND
• Assist with 3D visualisation and creative presentations for clients
• Support creative concepts for events and entertainment productions
• Participate in drone show productions and live event operations
• Explore new animation techniques and creative ideas

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Multimedia, Animation, 3D Design, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Creative Design, Film, UI/UX, or related fields
• Available for a minimum internship duration of 4 months, (preferred 6 months).
• Creative mindset and willingness to learn
• Strong communication skills in English
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• 3D modelling and animation skills
• Motion graphics or video editing experience
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Canva, Figma or CapCut
• Interest in technology, entertainment, events, or creative industries
• Experience with Blender or other 3D animation software is an added advantage
• A portfolio or showreel is highly encouraged
