Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a General Practitioner (GP) at TherapyMantra. The GP will provide primary medical care for clients engaging in online mental health services, including assessing physical and mental health needs, reviewing medical histories, and offering evidence-based advice on treatment options. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting virtual consultations, coordinating care with therapists and other healthcare providers, managing routine follow-ups, and adjusting treatment plans as needed. The GP will also contribute to integrated care pathways, support health education initiatives, and ensure clinical documentation meets professional, legal, and organizational standards. Collaboration with the wider multidisciplinary team to promote holistic wellbeing and safe, ethical practice is central to this role.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical foundation in Medicine and Primary Care, with demonstrated ability to manage common physical and mental health conditions.
• Background in Family Medicine or General Practice, with experience providing continuity of care across diverse populations and age groups.
• Knowledge of Nursing and allied health practices sufficient to coordinate care and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in Training, mentoring, or educating patients and peers on health promotion, disease prevention, and integrated mental–physical healthcare.
• Valid medical degree and current license/registration to practice as a General Practitioner or equivalent in relevant jurisdiction.
• Comfort and proficiency with telemedicine platforms, electronic health records, and remote patient management.
• Strong communication, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to provide non-judgmental, trauma-informed, and person-centered care.
• Experience or interest in mental health, behavioral medicine, or collaborative care models is highly beneficial.
