Job Summary

We are seeking a Part Time Clinic Assistant at Banyan Clinic @ JW on Saturday Nights and Sunday Morning sessions (occasional weekday nights) to support patient care, assist doctor during procedures and emergencies, and manage clinic inventory and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and schedule appointments to ensure smooth clinic operations
• Dispense medications and provide clear advice to patients for effective treatment
• Process patient billing accurately to maintain financial records
• Assist doctors during medical procedures and emergency calls to support patient care
• Chaperone doctors during consultations to ensure patient comfort and safety
• Conduct stock taking and manage drug inventory to maintain adequate supplies
• Order medications and supplies timely to prevent shortages
• Monitor and manage budgeting for clinic inventory to control costs
• Adapt to clinic opening hours including day and night sessions as scheduled

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Willingness to attend training provided to develop clinic assistant skills
• Reside near the western region for convenient access to the clinic

• Opening Hours:
• Day Sessions: Mondays to Sundays, 08:30 AM to 2:30 PM
• Night Sessions: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, 6:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• Public Holidays: Closed
• Staffing: 2 staff members on duty per session
