Freelance / Part-Time Science Tutor

We are an education and study-abroad consultancy in Singapore, providing academic support and education planning services to local and international students.

We are currently looking for experienced and passionate Science Tutors to provide face-to-face academic support to students in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality face-to-face Science lessons for local and international students.

• Provide one-to-one and/or small-group tutoring according to students' academic levels and learning needs.

• Teach Primary Science, Lower Secondary Science and/or Physics, Chemistry and Biology , depending on the tutor's area of expertise.

• Prepare lessons according to relevant curricula, including Singapore MOE, IGCSE, IB and A-Level , where applicable.

• Help students understand scientific concepts and develop analytical, application and problem-solving skills.

• Guide students in answering structured and examination-style questions effectively.

• Identify students' academic weaknesses and develop targeted learning plans.

• Monitor students' homework, assessments and academic progress, and provide timely feedback.

• Support students in preparing for school and relevant national/international examinations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Education or a related discipline .

• Strong subject knowledge in one or more Science disciplines.

• Familiarity with the Singapore MOE Science curriculum and/or international curricula is highly preferred.

• Prior Science teaching or tutoring experience is preferred.

• Experience teaching Primary, Secondary, IGCSE, IB or A-Level students will be an advantage.

• Able to explain scientific concepts clearly and adapt teaching methods to students of different abilities.

• Patient, responsible and passionate about education.

• Able to commit to a stable part-time teaching schedule.
