Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented HR & Training Intern to support daily human resources operations, training administration, and digital documentation projects. This role is ideal for students or fresh graduates who want hands‑on experience in HR, training coordination, and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Training & Development Support
- Review and update existing training videos.
- Edit clips for clarity, accuracy, and updated processes.
- Add captions, annotations, or basic voiceovers as needed.
- Assist in delivering employee induction sessions, including preparation of materials and attendance tracking.
- Coordinate and follow up on new hire On‑the‑Job Training (OJT) progress.
2. Digitalization & Document Management
- Scan physical personnel files and organize them into secure digital folders.
- Ensure proper document naming, filing, and confidentiality.
- Convert printed manuals, SOPs, and OJT documents into PDF or e‑formats.
- Maintain a structured, easy‑to‑navigate digital document library.
- Compile best practices and lessons learned from departments into a knowledge base or internal wiki.
3. HR Administrative Support
- Assist with recruitment activities such as job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
- Update employee records, forms, and HR trackers.
- Prepare HR letters, handouts, and basic reports when required.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, activities, and surveys.
- Handle general inquiries from employees professionally and promptly.
4. Event & Program Coordination
- Assist in scheduling and organizing internal events, training sessions, and workshops.
- Coordinate with participants, vendors, and venue providers.
- Track attendance, collect feedback, and support post‑event reporting.
- Participate in planning and documentation for CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activities, including liaising with local organizations or agencies.
5. EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) Assistance
- Review EHS documents for accuracy and assist in updating them according to the master control list.
- Prepare documents for approval and maintenance of EHS records.
- Update safety signage and notice boards with the latest information.
- Assist in creating simple visual aids for safety awareness.
- Conduct routine checks on first aid kits, spill kits, and PPE inventory, and report items that need replenishment.
Job Type: Internship
Pay: RM1,700.00 per month
