Responsibilities

Design Support

• Assist in preparing concept sketches, presentation boards, and basic 3D models to communicate design intent to the team and clients. Keep files organized and presentation-ready.
• Help refine floor plans and elevations under senior guidance so designs meet functional and regulatory needs. Suggest simple layout improvements when appropriate.

Technical Documentation

• Produce CAD drawings and update drawing sets following office standards for dimensions and annotations. Check drawing accuracy before issue.
• Prepare simple detailing and material notes to support construction documents. Aid in compiling schedules and specification snippets.

Site Work & Coordination

• Join site visits to record observations, take photos, and report back clear notes to the design team. Learn how site conditions shape design decisions.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and suppliers for basic information requests and sample checks. Follow up to ensure timely responses.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Enrolled in or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Architecture or a related field. Prior internship or studio experience is a plus but not required.
• Approximately 0 years of professional experience expected, with a willingness to learn on the job.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit for producing and editing drawings. Comfort with Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator for simple presentation work is preferred.
• Fundamental understanding of architectural drawing conventions, scale, and simple construction details. Model making and material research skills are a bonus.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Curious and coachable, with clear communication skills and attention to detail. Able to accept feedback and act on it quickly.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage multiple small tasks while keeping files and notes organised. Comfortable visiting sites as needed.
