Job Description

Responsibilities

As an HR Shared Services Intern, you will gain hands-on experience across the full employee lifecycle within HR Operations. You will support a wide range of HR administrative processes, serve as a key point of contact for employee inquiries, and develop a strong understanding of HR policies, systems, and best practices. This internship offers valuable exposure to how a HR Shared Services function delivers efficient, accurate, and employee-focused support across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Frontline Employee Support

  • Serve as the face of HR by providing first-level support for employee enquiries during counter opening hours.
  • Respond clearly and professionally to general team queries regarding company HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Lifecycle & Mobility Administration
  • Facilitate seamless onboarding and offboarding experiences by preparing, verifying, and filing essential employee documentation.
  • Learn corporate immigration processes by supporting work pass applications, renewals, cancellations, and required follow-ups.
  • Benefits & Operations
  • Assist in administering employee medical benefits, insurance programs, and claims processing.
  • Support daily HR administrative and shared services operations to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Data Governance & Coordination
  • Maintain and update HR trackers, records, and reports to guarantee data accuracy and integrity.
  • Proactively monitor and follow up on outstanding documents, approvals, and required submissions in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate effectively with employees, supervisors, and internal departments on various HR-related matters.
  • Execute other HR and administrative duties as assigned by your supervisor to broaden your skill set.


Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Human Resource, Business, or any other related disciplines
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Detailed-oriented and meticulous
  • Able to multitask and work in fast-paced environment
