Head of Operations

About the Role

Novel Communication Pte Ltd is seeking a position Head of Operations to oversee the company’s retail, distribution, inventory, logistics, customer service and after-sales operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for improving operational efficiency, maintaining service standards, controlling costs and supporting the company’s continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational plans aligned with business objectives.

• Oversee daily retail, distribution, logistics, inventory and customer-service operations.

• Improve workflows, policies and procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency.

• Manage stock planning, allocation, replenishment and inventory accuracy.

• Monitor order fulfilment, deliveries, product returns, repairs and warranty claims.

• Ensure consistent customer-service and operational standards across all business functions.

• Establish and monitor operational KPIs, service levels, budgets and performance targets.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and reduce operational risks.

• Coordinate with sales, marketing, finance, suppliers, logistics providers and business partners.

• Support new product launches, promotions, outlet activities and business-expansion projects.

• Lead, coach and manage operations managers, supervisors and team members.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable Singapore regulations.

• Prepare operational reports and recommendations for senior management.

Requirements

• Proven ability to improve productivity, manage costs and lead cross-functional teams.

• Strong leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced business environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant retail, inventory or enterprise management systems.
