Job Summary

Join SNR Engineering Services as an Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience in testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical motors, generators, and transformers while working alongside experienced engineers and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers and technicians in testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical motors, generators, and transformers to support project completion
• Conduct on-site inspections, installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of rotating equipment and power systems to ensure operational reliability
• Perform electrical and mechanical checks, insulation resistance tests, winding resistance measurements, and routine diagnostic tests under supervision to verify equipment condition
• Support operation and commissioning of motors, generators, transformers, and control panels to facilitate system readiness
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals to assist in maintenance and troubleshooting tasks
• Record test results accurately, prepare service reports, and maintain maintenance and commissioning documentation to support quality control
• Assist in identifying equipment faults and recommend corrective actions under guidance to improve system performance
• Follow workplace safety regulations, company procedures, and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment
• Maintain testing instruments, tools, and equipment in good working condition to ensure readiness for use
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and project teams to achieve timely and successful maintenance, repair, and commissioning outcomes
