Content Creation & Storytelling

• Assist in drafting social media captions, newsletter articles, website content and marketing materials.
• Support the development of stories highlighting beneficiaries, volunteers, donors, staff and community partners.
• Conduct basic interviews with internal and external stakeholders to gather content and success stories.
• Assist in creating simple visual assets using Canva or similar design platforms.
• Support photography and videography needs during events, programmes and community engagements.

Social Media Management & Digital Marketing

• Maintain and update the organization’s social media content calendar.
• Monitor upcoming content requirements and coordinate with departments to ensure timely submissions.
• Draft and schedule social media posts across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and other platforms.
• Assist in monitoring social media engagement
• and respond to routine comments and messages where appropriate.
• Track social media performance and compile monthly analytics reports.
• Kickstart and support the growth and management of 4S’ TikTok presence through content research, trend monitoring, content planning and video creation.
• Research trending social media content, best practices and sector-related campaigns to generate content ideas.

Marketing Communications Support

• Assist other departments in the execution of any comms materials for fundraising, volunteer recruitment and awareness campaigns.
• Support the preparation of campaign materials, marketing collaterals and communication toolkits.
• Assist with updating donor, volunteer and campaign-related communication materials.
• Support event publicity efforts before, during and after events.

Website & Digital Content Management

• Assist in website maintenance, content, news articles and event information.
• Ensure information across digital platforms remains current, accurate and aligned with brand guidelines.
• Support liaison with website maintenance vendor related to SEO and website content optimization efforts where applicable.

Stakeholder & Media Support

• Assist in maintaining media relations, partner and stakeholder contact lists.
• Support media monitoring and prepare media coverage summaries.
• Assist with logistical coordination for media interviews, events and publicity opportunities.

Research & Communications Administration

• Conduct research on communication trends, social media practices and sector-related topics.
• Monitor relevant news, social issues and community developments that may support content creation.
• Assist in maintaining communication calendars, project trackers and content archives.
• Support administrative tasks related to communications projects and campaigns.

Other Duties

• Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions and organizational events.
• Support communications-related projects as assigned.
• Perform other duties reasonably assigned by the Corporate Communications team.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Mass Communication, Business, Media, or related fields
• Proficient in social media platforms and trends
• Good sense of design aesthetic and a keen eye for details
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiar with Canva and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) is advantageous
• Knowledge of photography and video-editing (Premiere Pro) is advantageous
