Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Logistics & Freight Forwarding Intern to join our customer services & operations team. This internship provides hands-on exposure to freight forwarding, shipping documentation, customs clearance, transportation coordination, and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Customer Service & Operations team in managing daily freight forwarding and logistics activities.
• Assist in coordinating import and export shipments by sea, air, and land.
• Prepare and check shipping documents such as:
• Commercial Invoice
• Packing List
• Bill of Lading (BL)
• Air Waybill (AWB)
• Delivery Order (DO)
• Customs documents
• Certificate of Origin (COO)
• Other shipment-related documents
• Assist with customs declaration and customs clearance activities.
• Assist in preparing and checking K1, K2, K3 and other relevant customs documentation, where applicable.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, hauliers, transporters, customs agents, warehouses, and customers.
• Monitor shipment status and provide updates to customers.
• Assist with booking arrangements, container release, port operations, trucking, and delivery arrangements.
• Update shipment information in the company’s system/tracking platform.
• Assist in preparing quotation and freight rate requests.
• Follow up with overseas agents, suppliers, transporters, and customers regarding shipment requirements.
• Maintain proper filing of shipment documents and records.
• Assist in preparing daily/weekly shipment reports.
• Support the team in resolving shipment delays, documentation issues, and operational matters.
• Ensure all activities are carried out according to company SOPs and customer requirements.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Business, or related field.
• Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain concepts.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Good attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Responsible, organized, and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and good problem-solving skills.
